There is a man dressed like Timothy Claypole making his way up and down the carriage. He is offering to introduce himself to my fellow travellers. No one seems overly keen to take him up on his offer. He is very polite and seems to be clutching some sort of laminated certificate. I did not want to look too interested and so could not see what it certified. Perhaps he belongs to the Guild of Jesters. Annabel used to carry a little laminated card. It said "Twin Photographer". By flourishing it she was able, mostly, to win the confidence of many a twin.
